8BitDo’s officially licensed Xbox Edition mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse have arrived. Inspired by the original Xbox’s iconic transparent green special-edition console, the 8BitDo Retro 87 TKL Wireless Keyboard is up for grabs for $120 at Amazon. You can pair the wireless keyboard with the matching Retro R8 Wireless Mouse for $60.

8BitDo’s latest PC peripherals are proving to be popular; Amazon currently estimates the keyboard won’t be available to ship until early- to mid-February. The wait time for the mouse is even longer, with estimates ranging from mid-February to the back half of March. As a reminder, you won’t be charged for your order until Amazon ships it.

8BitDo’s Retro 87 TKL Xbox edition keyboard was designed in partnership with Xbox, and it sports several touches that call back to Microsoft’s first home gaming console, including a translucent green plastic shell and directional keys sporting the same colors as the Xbox controller face buttons. There’s also an integrated Xbox button for pulling up the Xbox overlay menu on Windows. Like 8BitDo’s other console-inspired mechanical keyboards, the Retro 87 TKL comes with two big, customizable microswitch buttons in the same style as the keyboard.

The Retro 87 also features RGB lighting and is. officially compatible with Windows and Android devices via 2.4GHz and Bluetooth wireless connectivity or wired USB-C. That said, all of 8BitDo’s other keyboards work wirelessly via Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless on macOS, so this one should, too. That said, 8BitDo’s keyboard-specific Ultimate Software V2 isn’t available on macOS, so you’d need to modify settings on a Windows or Android device or get by without making any tweaks. A free month of PC Game Pass is also included in the box.

The wireless Retro R8 Xbox Edition mouse sports an ambidextrous design with four additional programmable buttons–two on each side of the mouse. Like the Retro 87’s directional keys, the Retro R8’s extra buttons match the colors of the Xbox controller’s face buttons. You can connect the mouse to Windows or Android devices wirelessly via Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless, or through wired USB-C connections. Once again, we’d expect the mouse to work without issue on macOS, just without support for the Ultimate Software V2 app. The mouse ships with a charging dock and includes a one-month subscription to PC Game Pass.

In case you’d prefer a different design, several other 8BitDo TKL wireless keyboards are on sale right now. All of 8BitDo’s keyboards are inspired by retro game consoles or computers, including the NES-inspired N Edition, the Famicom-inspired Fami Edition, and the Commodore 64-themed C64 Edition, which is available for the biggest discount right now. The C64 Edition also has the added benefit of including the Super Stick, a detachable arcade stick, in addition to the Super Buttons. All of the aforementioned models are tenkeyless (TKL), but 8BitDo does sell matching Numpads–the C64 Numpad is the only one that’s on sale right now. In December, 8BitDo launched full-size iterations of the NES and Fami Editions.

As for alternative mouse options, 8BitDo also makes an NES-inspired N30 wireless mouse with buttons and a D-pad that look identical to the inputs on the NES gamepad. It retails for $30, but it’s currently sold out.
