99 Nights Secret Action: How to get the Humiliation Badge
The dark, scary woods of 99 Nights in the Forest are full of secrets, but it takes an extra secret action to unlock the Humiliation Badge.
Badges are like 99 Nights in the Forest’s version of achievements, which are special in-game challenges that reward players with useful items and currency when completed.
While most of the Badges are for doing things like surviving the whole 99 nights, defeating specific enemies or taming animals, the Humiliation Badge tasks players with completing a mysterious “secret action”.
To actually collect this badge you’ll have to waste a run, but it’s worth your time to grab a few free diamonds; you usually have to wait for a 99 Nights in the Forest code for them to come this easy.
How to get the Humiliation Badge in 99 Nights in the Forest
To collect the Humiliation Badge in 99 Nights in the Forest, you need to die by stepping on your own Bear Trap.
You only need one Bear Trap to do this, which costs 3 Scrap from tier 2 of the Crafting Table at your campfire. To unlock the second tier of the Crafting Table, you just need to grind up 5 Logs and 1 piece of Scrap.
There’s a misconception that you only need to step on someone else’s Bear Trap once to get the Badge to trigger, but the most reliable way is to jump into a solo game, get enough resources to build a Bear Trap, then use it on yourself.
Smart players should be very familiar with Bear Traps, as they present an easy way to protect yourself and your campfire while keeping a safe distance away from dangerous cultists.
The easiest way to get the Humiliation Badge is to stand on your own Bear Trap once so it snaps shut, then hold the action button over it to redeploy it while you’re still standing in the same spot. When the Bear Trap snaps open again, it will immediately close on your foot again, dealing another chunk of damage.
If you do this a couple of times, you’ll be sent crashing out into the lobby again pretty quickly, only this time with a shiny new badge to wear with pride, not humiliation, because you know the secret action and your friends don’t!
