Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Switch Handheld Controller Gets Big Discount At Best Buy
Zelda fans can get the Tears of the Kingdom-themed Hori Split Pad Pro for $48 at Best Buy. The 20% discount from its usual $60 price matches the best price we’ve seen since the handheld controller launched alongside the game in 2023. Additionally, Best Buy has marked this as a clearance deal, so the retailer will soon no longer carry this specific edition of the Split Pad Pro.

Hori’s Split Pad Pro substantially improves the ergonomics of the Switch in handheld mode by offering more conventional handles, larger buttons, triggers, and joysticks, and a proper D-pad. It also has a pair of remappable back triggers. When Best Buy eventually sells out, the Tears of the Kingdom Split Pad Pro is available at Amazon for $54.
Best Buy also has the light gray/yellow Split Pad Compact on clearance for $40 (was $50). The Split Pad Compact is, as it sounds, a smaller version of the Split Pad, but it still improves the Switch’s ergonomics.
If you like the form factor of Nintendo’s Joy-Con controllers but wish the left Joy-Con had a normal D-pad, Hori’s Zelda-themed D-pad Controller, which replaces the left Joy-Con, is available for $23 (was $28) at Amazon.
For a conventional controller for docked play, check out the the Horipad Bluetooth Controller for $48 (was $60). The carbon black controller features Ocarina of Time Link as well as symbols such as the Hylian Crest and landscape art of Hyrule. The Horipad is officially licensed, and unlike many third-party controllers, it has a full motion motion controls.
