Where to find Firecell Stone in Monster Hunter Wilds

There’s an abundance of different materials to go about collecting in Monster Hunter Wilds, especially if you’re ultimately hoping to craft High Rank armor or the most powerful of weapons. One such material that armor aficionado’s will be in need of sooner or later is the Firecell Stone.

Fortunately, the Firecell Stone isn’t too tricky to acquire once you know where to look, and that’s the Oilwell Basin biome of the game. To help you track down the resource, here’s where to find Firecell Stone in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Where to find Firecell Stone in Monster Hunter Wilds

Firecell Stones are dropped by Mining Nodes (the blue mining icons on your map) in Monster Hunter Wilds. At the time of writing, we can’t confirm every single location where you’ll find the material, but we are able to confirm a couple of areas in which we were able to consistently find it.

To get your hands on Firecell Stone (which is not to be confused with a different, albeit similarly-named resource, Firestone), we recommend exploring the fiery Oilwell Basin biome and looking out for Mining Nodes. It appears that the Firecell Stone only drops in this biome, and is quite rare compared to its similarly-named counterpart, Firestone.

Two areas in which we have found Firecell Stone in Monster Hunter Wilds are as follows:

  • Oilwell Basin Area 16 – there are 6 mining nodes here that can drop a Firecell Stone!
  • Oilwell Basin Area 17

The player, who is mining in Area 16 of Oilwell Basin, retrieves a Firecell Stone in Monster Hunter Wilds

To collect the material, simply approach the Mining Node on foot or on your Seikret and press ‘B’. You’ll be able to mine from the node three times before it is depleted, so before long, you should have multiple Firecell Stones to use.
