As you start hunting monsters and crafting new armor and weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds, you’ll soon find that you’re in need of resources you may not have necessarily already collected — namely, Lightcrystal. You won’t find this particular material dropping from monsters, either. Instead, you’ll need to spend some time actively exploring the map and all it has to offer.
Critters, plants, and nodes are all worth keeping an eye out for in Wilds, with Mining Nodes being home to all sorts of ores and crystals necessary for crafting High Rank armor and weapons. To help you out, here’s exactly where to find Lightcrystal in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Where to find Lightcrystal in Monster Hunter Wilds
Lightcrystal is an item you’ll get from Mining Nodes (the blue mining icons on your map) in Monster Hunter Wilds, and while we can’t yet confirm whether or not it drops everywhere, we can confirm some specific mining locations where it is found.
You’ll find Lightcrystal in the following areas in Monster Hunter Wilds:
- Oilwell Basin Area 16
- Oilwell Basin Area 13
- Oilwell Basin Area 17
- Iceshard Cliffs Area 18
- Windward Plains Area 17
In the final area on the above list — Windward Plains Area 17 — you will need to make your way from one Mining Node to another without your Seikret. One of the Mining Nodes will be beside a small gap under some rocks at the base of a tall cliff. You can crawl under here and continue climbing upwards to gather materials from more Mining Nodes, but your Seikret will have to wait behind.
