A second open beta for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has been announced, allowing a new wave of players to try out the game ahead of its launch on April 24. This beta is bringing some exciting additions to seperate it from the first beta, including a training mode and Tizoc.

This open beta is set to go live on March 26 at 10PM PDT / 1AM EDT / 5AM GMT / 6AM CEST, and will conclude on March 31 at 1AM PDT / 4AM EDT / 8AM GMT / 9AM CEST. It’ll be playable on the platforms you’d expect, PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

This beta seems to have been released, at least in part due to some technical issues with the first beta. Namely, connection issues that made it frustration for folks to actually get online and play matches. Hopefully, this time around, these issues will shown signs of improvement. It’s worth noting that with the game’s release drawing ever nearer, these connectivity problems caused much anxiety among fighting game fans, who know from experience that a poor online experience is a major momentum killer.

If nothing else, it’s a chance for those who have been longing for another taste of City of the Wolves to play it yet again, one last time before release. Unless, of course, you’re a cracker. Cracker meaning, those nefarious folks who used Cheat Engine to bust open the first open beta, allowing for offline play and even training mode access once the servers went down.

Are you going to give this second Open Beta for City of the Wolves a chance? Let us know below, as well as if you’re excited to get your hands on Tizoc.
