Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ realization of Sengoku era Japan is incredible. From the golden Shachihoko atop Osaka Castle to the unspoiled waters of Kiyomizudera Temple and Lake Biwa, iconic locations throughout the country have been painstakingly recreated to create an authentic atmosphere.
However, a side-effect of this obvious labor of love is that Assassin’s Creed Shadows is also a huge game, full of interesting systems and secrets to discover.
One of the interesting things about Assassin’s Creed Shadows is that it asks you to find a lot of these things yourself with only a few directions and not much else to go on.
