So you’ve been hard at work upgrading shops through Tamahiko Town in Tamagotchi Plaza, but what about the town square? While the parks here are wonderful from the get-go, it isn’t enough if we’re hoping to be the host of the Tamagotchi Fest, and this is where upgrading the town square comes in.
All four patches of grass – Tamahiko Garden, Tategami Park, Friendship Square, and Trend Palette – can be upgraded to Royal level much like your shops. These upgrades not only see new attractions being built in the town square, but more Tamagotchi too, which means more opportunities to interact with everyone!
Here’s how to upgrade the town square in Tamagotchi Plaza.
How to upgrade the town square in Tamagotchi Plaza
Rather than working diligently in Tamahiko Town’s four parks in Tamagotchi Plaza, which is how you upgrade all of the town’s shops, you’re instead going to need Gotchi. Lots of it.
First things first, pay a visit to your house in the south of Tamahiko Town. Once inside, go over to the whiteboard on the left-hand side of the room that reads ‘develop the square’ (shown below).
Interact with it, and you’ll be presented with a list of town square developments – the four parks – that you can pay for using Gotchi. For each of the parks, each upgrade costs the following amount:
- Level 1 to 2 (Mecchi level): 500 Gotchi
- Level 2 to 3 (Gotchi level): 2000 Gotchi
- Level 3 to 4 (Royal level): 5000 Gotchi
This amount of Gotchi – on top of what you have to spend upgrading the shops in Tamahiko Town – means you’ve got your work cut out for you trying to upgrade them all.
Each upgrade ultimately improves the appearance of the park you’ve decided to develop, adding flowers, statues and more. This then attracts even more Tamagotchi to come and visit Tamahiko Town, and of course, increases your chances of hosting the prestigious Tamagotchi Fest!
