How to get to Tenochtitlan Harbor in Genshin Impact, or Tenochzitoc Harbor to use the title the quest gives it, seems like a bigger mystery than it actually is. The first quest in Genshion 5.8’s (permanent) summer event asks you to go to Tenochzitoc Harbor, aka Tenochtitlan Harbor, and then doesn’t tell you how to cross the vast expanse of ocean to actually get there.

How to get toTenochtitlan Harbor in Genshin Impact
Head to the event menu, and navigate to the summer event overview. Accept the invitation and read it to mark Tenochtitlan Harbor on your map, and then open the map. At the initial level of zoom, all you can see is the quest marker and the unactivated Statue of the Seven, and if you travel through the Night-Wind clan lands and into Tecoloapan Bay, all you’ll see is open ocean with no waverider waypoint in sight.
If you’re very patient and careful, you could probably use a Cryo team to freeze the water and eventually reach Tenochtitlan Harbor. However, the intended way is to just instantly teleport there. Yep, despite the way the map looks, if you zoom in just a bit further on Tenochzitoc Harbor, you’ll notice an active teleport waypoint right next to the quest marker.
Fast-travel there, walk a few steps forward, and you’ll run into Bennett and kick off the summer event featuring Mualani and Chasca – timely, with their 5.8 banner reruns – some mini-games and event-exclusive rewards, and a small set of islands that, unlike previous summer events, won’t vanish after Genshin 5.8 ends. This part of Natlan is firmly anchored in Teyvat and won’t be going anywhere.
