Grow a Garden‘s latest in-game event sees friendly fairies visiting your garden and, even though a lot of what happens in this game earns it the label of wholesome, this particular theme is downright adorable. Who doesn’t love the idea of befriending the fairies at the end of the garden, after all?
The Fairy event is due to run for at least a week, but as ever in Grow a Garden, there’s no time to lose when it comes to getting to grips with all the new and time-limited content on offer. On this page we’ll go over the various ways you can earn rewards from the Fairy Godmother and the Wishing Well, as well as details of what those rewards are.
How to complete the Fairy event in Grow a Garden
The appearance of Fairies in Grow a Garden is technically a weather event – which can come as a bit of a surprise the first time you log on to see a sparkly purple-hued sky. For the duration of the event, the Fairy weather effect takes place for around the first 10 minutes of every hour.
In addition to the pretty new sky colour, this weather event will see NPC fairies flying around the island and into player gardens, where they will apply the Glimmering mutation to the crops they find growing there.
Those Glimmering crops are your ticket to earning Fairy event rewards, and there are a couple of different ways to earn them, although both require you to head to the Fairy Godmother’s location near the Wishing Well at the centre of the map.
Interact with the Wishing Well and you’ll have two different options to trade your Glimmering crops for rewards:
- Fairy Favors: The Fairies will request a specific Glimmering crop. If you have some on you, deliver it in exchange for a huge number of Fairy Points triggering an immediate Wish, which lets you choose between three semi-randomised rewards.
- Fountain Power: If you have Glimmering crops that aren’t part of the current Fairy Favors requests, you can submit them directly to the Wishing Well to increase your Fountain Power. A non-requested Glimmering crop typically yields 1-10 Fairy Points, depending on the base crop’s rarity and any innate mutations it possesses. Accumulating enough Fairy Points increases your Fountain Power to the next tier and will reward you with a Wish.
In either case, you will be able to obtain five Wishes before you need to either wait for the Wishing Well tier to reset when the server refreshes, or reset it early yourself by spending Fairy Coins or Robux.

New seeds are an ever-popular part of Grow a Garden, especially since so many are limited to a single event. Upon obtaining an Enchanted Seed Pack reward, you’ll have the opportunity to plant the following crops:

The Fairy event also introduces the ever-popular event-exclusive pet rewards. After obtaining an Enchanted Egg and waiting four hours and 10 minutes for it to hatch, you have the chance to obtain one of the following fairy-themed pets:

Grow a Garden Fairy Enchanted Crate rewards
While perhaps not as hugely sought-after as event-exclusive seeds or pets, there’s something to be said for cosmetics that prove you were in the garden taking part in the Fairy event – and are also super cute to look at. Opening the Enchanted Crate reward can grant the following furniture pieces to decorate your garden with:
