Hollow Knight: Silksong – How to Beat Last Judge (Easy Way)
How to Make Fighting Last Judge Easier
Ву Waddledee.
Boss Attacks
Phase #1:
The boss jumps forward and can either land normally or slam its bell into the ground. It also has an attack where it pulls its arm back and throws the bell forward, then pulls it back to its hand. It can also make a small orange circle with its bell, then follow up with a larger circle around itself.
Phase #2:
This phase always starts with a roar and a circle attack. During this move, fire trails spread out from the boss. The boss also jumps and slams its bell, creating a delayed fire trail on the ground. Its bell-toss attack now explodes with fire before the bell returns to the boss. It can also step back and dash forward, leaving a delayed trail of fire pillars.
Phase #3:
The boss will do a roar followed by a longer version of the fire and circle attack. It also uses a regular fire and circle attack, but there is less space to dodge the fire. All other attacks from Phase 2 are still in its moveset.
Once you land the final hit, the boss explodes in a large circle.

Tips for Surviving
Suggested Gear:
- Reaper Crest (from Greymoor)
- Magma Bell (from Forge Daughter in Deep Docks)
- Pollip Pouch (from the Rite of the Pollip Wish)
Note: If you don’t have the Pollip Pouch, use something else like Druid’s Eye.
Staying Alive:
- Don’t use your skill for attacking. Use it for healing.
- Magma Bell makes you take 1 damage instead of 2 from fire attacks.
- Try to stay in the middle of the room. It’s easy to get stuck on the sides.
- Avoid jumping so you can focus on moving left and right to dodge.
- When Last Judge throws the Bell, dash away. When it comes back, it still hits for 2 damage.
- In Phase 2, move even farther away.
- If you’re near a wall, hold onto it until the explosion happens.
- In Phase 2, when Last Judge does the Dash and Fire Columns attack or the Bell Slam and Fire Trail attack, jump straight up to dodge it.
Healing:
- Heal when you have a chance, especially if you’re missing 2-3 masks.
- In Phase 1, you can heal after the Bell Slam or during the Circle attack.
- In Phase 2, wait for the Bell Slam, Circle, or Dash attacks. For the Bell Slam, heal while you are in the air.
- In Phase 3, do not heal during the first attack.
Tips for Dealing Damage
The best times to attack are right after the boss finishes certain moves.
After the Bell Slam, you can get in a couple of hits if you are next to the boss. If you are farther away, you can either hit it once or not at all, since the Circle Attack that follows can easily hit you.
When the boss does a Jump, you can attack once if you are close enough.
You can attack at other times if you can do so without taking damage. These are just the easiest opportunities to get hits in.
