Best Strikers to sign in EA Sports FC 26
The best strikers in EA Sports FC 26 are stronger than ever, thanks to reworked shooting mechanics which have given every player access to low driven shots.
While players with the specific PlayStyle are still the best, this change transforms almost any player into a deadly finisher with the right timing, so when you combine that with extreme pace, unassailable strength or elite dribbling, there’s not much defenders can do to stop you.
However, as you may have noticed over the summer, top-quality strikers are in short supply in world football with proven goalscorers moving for astronomical fees; Liverpool spent more than £200 million on just Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike alone.
So with this in mind we’ve scoured the FC 26 database to uncover the best strikers to sign in Career Mode for a variety of teams and budgets. Whether you’re jumping straight into the Champions League or rising up from League 2, there’s an awesome striker with overpowered stats and PlayStyles somewhere to add to your squad.

Before you can really evaluate who the best striker for your team is, you need to decide which kind of striker you want. Or, if you’re feeling nostalgic, you could even go for the classic “big man, little man” partnership up top.
For top teams, you have lots of options. Mohamed Amoura already has incredible stats in-game, but with +4 potential growth to push that even further. His smaller frame allows his incredible pace to shine through, while his high agility and dribbling make him feel silky on the ball.
Alternatively, Samu at Porto drew a lot of interest from top teams over the summer, but remains in Portugal… for now. With 90 strength and 94 jumping at 6ft 4” he’s amazing in the air, but also has 83 sprint speed and 83 finishing to do the business on the ground. 86 Potential means he’s got lots of room to boost his technical stats too.
For a similar profile at a more accessible price, Chelsea’s sister team Strasbourg have Emmanuel Emegha, who looks incredible with 81 acceleration and 95 sprint speed at 6ft 5” but with the added bonus of the extremely powerful Low Driven Shot PlayStyle too. He’s got +5 Potential growth to get even better, but dynamic potential will surely raise that ceiling quickly.
There are loads and loads of great-looking strikers at the mid-tier, with particular standouts being Matthis Abline at Nantes and Adriano Bertaccini at Anderlecht. While these guys don’t have the highest Potential, they have the in-game stats to change that pretty quickly, with great pace and shooting PlayStyles to score lots of goals and boost their growth with strong match ratings.
If you are more interested in Potential though, look at Karim Konate at RB Salzburg and Charalampos Kostoulas at Brighton. Brighton did amazingly well to snap up Kostoulas, who was a 1-in-2 goalscorer for Olympiacos at just 17. In FC 26, he already has the stats to make an impact as well.
Finally if you have very little budget, Mason Melia looks like a quality pick-up from the League of Ireland, while Career Mode legends Sirlord Conteh and Ricky-Jade Jones still only have a value of around £1 million each.
