The Skies of Anguish in Fisch is a special event that gives you a small window during which you can make a lot of money – assuming you’re playing at the right time. The event only lasts a very short time when it goes live. Still, the mutations and modifiers make it well worth hopping to it if you see the skies turn red.

What is Skies of Anguish in Fisch?
Skies of Anguish is an admin weather event where the skies turn red for a brief time – very brief, as it only lasts five minutes – and several unique features happen. One is that all fish you sell will be worth an additional 50 percent of their standard value, regardless of what the fish is. That’s worthwhile in itself, but you also have a higher chance of catching these fish while the event is active:
- Banana
- Black Iron Bucket
- Tarnished Moongill
Finally, while Skies of Anguish is active, you have a chance of catching fish with the Tormented mutation. Fish with the Tormented mutation sell for a thematically appropriate 6.66 times their usual value.
When does Skies of Anguish happen in Fisch?
That’s the fun part, no one knows. Well, no one except an admin, anyway. Unlike the Black Market event, which is an admin event on a fixed schedule, Skies of Anguish only happens when an admin decides to flip it on, so to speak. So far, there’s no set schedule that we’ve been able to figure out, so it literally is just a case of hoping you’re playing at the right time. That might change in the future, though for now, it’s a happy stroke of luck – not something to plan for.
