If you just started playing Arc Raiders, some of the early items you might struggle to find in raids are fruits, vegetables and various other natural resources. You’ve probably been asked in party chat whether you know where to find lemons and apricots, and whether you had any to spare.
Lemons and apricots are required early on to upgrade Scrappy, your loyal rooster friend loved by everyone. In this guide, we’ll outline where you can find the two, and how to maximise your chances of actually getting them to drop.
Where to find lemons and apricots in Arc Raiders
Like many things in Arc Raiders, loot and item spawns are random. However, you can aim for areas that have a higher chance of containing the type of item you’ want’re after. Lemons and apricots, for instance, can be found in areas with the Nature tag.
That said, you won’t always find them in cities. Much like prickly pears, they’re found in/around trees and greenery. Sometimes they’re on the tree itself, and other times you’ll find them covering the ground around it.
Lemons and apricots are necessary to improve the quality of the items Scrappy brings you back after every raid. It’s crucial to note they may not always spawn close to each other, or even on the same map.
In some cases, kicking the tree could cause more pieces of fruit to fall down, which is a great way to stock up on what you want. Buried City, and Blue Gate are good places to find both, but you can also find one or the other in Dam Battlegrounds.

How to boost your chances of finding Nature items in Arc Raiders
While anything with the Nature tag on the map has a chance to contain all manner of natural items, there’s an even more guaranteed way to up those chances considerably. Enter Lush Blooms, a type of map even that, when active, will greatly increase your chances of finding and harvesting fruits, vegetables, and other naturally-occurring resources.
When a map has that even active, it will be noted on the map selection screen. If you’re after a bit of harvest, look for that event and join the maps that have it active.
Don’t take unnecessary risks
Farming raids should be treated as short and to-the-point runs. Take a note of where you spawn, then immediately head to any of the locations marked on the maps above. Grab what you can and go.
You may need to hit multiple locations to get enough of what you need, but you definitely shouldn’t meander around or pick fights. The earlier you try to extract from a match, the safer it is – and the more plentiful the extracts.
If you’ve fallen on hard times, picking a Free Loadout for harvest runs is a good option, just take note of its lack of Safe Pockets. Augments that include Safe Pockets, however, may be the more efficient option, and they allow you to be a bit more aggressive.
