In the world of Where Winds Meet, no foe is as dangerous, as frenzied and deadly as the ferocious wild goose. In the Honk If You Want Treasure quest though, a passing master teaches you the skills you need to survive against these furious, feathered creatures.
Honk If You Want Treasure Walkthrough
As you walk the road between General’s Shrine and Heaven’s Pier in Where Winds Meet, you’re directed to take action against a thuggish goose who’s terrorizing the locals.
From its island home in the middle of a stream, the goose attacks all comers who dare to get too close. Unfortunately, with the main road into town being next to the goose’s lair this has become quite the problem.
If you approach the goose and try to battle it head on, you will more than likely perish and find yourself at the nearest Hero’s Shrine.
How to defeat the goose in Honk If You Want Treasure
Nearby, approach the study group sitting on the grass verge. Speak to Master Heartless who’s addressing her students and she will divulge that you need to use the Meridian Touch Mystic Art to counter the Goose’s flurry of rapid strikes and techniques.
You learn the Meridian Touch from Yan Qiren near Stonewash Strand in the Qinghe, Verdant Wilds area between General’s Shrine and Heaven’s Pier.
With the Mystic Art equipped, aim at the goose in battle and select “Immobilize”. Rather than attacking it for this quest though, while the goose is frozen, steal its egg from its nest to pacify it and complete the mission.
As a reward, you get a Sturdy Goose Egg for your trouble.
