Where to find Winter Birds in Heartopia
Heartopia‘s Winter Frost Season is the first line-up of limited-time content since the game’s global launch, running from January 31st to March 13th, 2026. During this six-week period, various winter-themed events are running, and most of your hobby collections are expanded with temporary seasonal additions.
The birdwatching collection is very much included in this category, with five species of Winter Birds arriving on the island for the winter season.
Where to find Winter Birds in Heartopia
Winter Birds are exclusive to the Suburbs region of Heartopia’s map. However, unlike Frostspore Fish and Frostspore Butterflies, they aren’t characterised by a glacial appearance. Instead, they look near-identical to regular birds, except they’re bundled up warmly in little woolly hats and scarves. (Aww!)
The only downside to this cutesy variation is that they’re not always very easy to spot – so it’s worth keeping your birdwatching device in-hand whenever you’re in the Suburbs region and taking a close look at every bird you see while you’re there.
All four Winter Birds unlocked so far can be found either on or next to the water in the various parts of the Suburban Lake:
- Winter Eurasian Wigeon
- Winter Greater Flamingo
- Winter Mallard
- Winter Smew
- The fifth bird will unlock during Week 3 of Winter Frost Season
