Honkai Star Rail Elation Trailblazer build and teams

0

Honkai Star Rail’s Elation Trailblazer might seem a bit familiar if you used the Remembrance version. Like the Rememblazer (and Harmony Trailblazer, for that matter) the Elation Trailblazer’s role is to support other Elation characters. They amplify damage and make it possible for your heavy hitters to do even more damage. Their kit has comparatively few gimmicks, even for an Elation character, which makes them easier to build.

Below, we break down the best HSR Elation Trailblazer builds and teams, including the best 4-star picks.

HSR Elation Trailblazer build

HSR Elation Trailblazer Light Cones

Like other Trailblazer versions, the Elation Trailblazer doesn’t have their own Light Cone. They can, however, make excellent use of the 5-star Elation Brimming with Blessings, which you can get from Herta’s store. It raises the wearer’s attack and when they use their skill or ultimate on an ally, that ally’s Elation stat increases. It won’t help with energy regeneration, but it will make the target of their ultimate hit even harder.

Yao Guang’s When She Decides to See is the ideal option if you have it and aren’t using Yao Guang. It raises crit rate for the party and energy regeneration and speed for the wearer, making it a potent support option. It’s just better on Yao Guang.

The only other viable option in HSR 4.2 is Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures, which comes from the Forgotten Hall store. It raises the wearer’s Elation, and when they use their own Elation skill, all enemies take increased Elation damage from anyone in the party. That’ll come in handy in general, but also when Trailblazer’s ultimate lets an ally use their Elation skill for free.

HSR Elation Trailblazer Relics

Like with most Elation units, the current best set for Elation Trailblazer is Diviner of Distant Reach.

  • Two-piece effect: Raises speed by six percent
  • Four-piece effect: If the wearer’s speed is equal to 120/160 or higher before entering combat, increase wearer’s crit rate by 10/18 percent. When the wearer first uses their Elation skill, all allies’ receive a 10 percent Elation buff for the battle’s duration.

You want to build Elation Trailblazer for speed anyway, but the nice thing about this set is that you get the Elation buff even if you aren’t at the two speed cutoff points. The only time you don’t want to use this set is if another Elation teammate is wearing it, since the Elation buff doesn’t stack. In that case, use:

  • Messenger Traversing Hackerspace
  • Two pieces of Messenger and Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal (or Warrior Goddess) for a total 12 percent speed buff

The reliable support set Sprightly Vonwacq is a strong option for Elation Trailblazer, thanks to its energy regeneration buff, and the action advance buff when speed is over 120 works in your favor, too. If you end up with effect resistance on your Relic stats, you could also opt for Broken Keel. At 30 percent effect resistance, the entire party gets a 10 percent crit damage increase.

HSR Elation Trailblazer stats

Elation Trailblazer, like most supports, benefits from speed and energy regeneration. Attack is not a priority here, and while crit rate and crit damage can be helpful, you’re also fine to just stick with a good defense or HP chest set.

  • Body: Crit rate, crit damage, HP, or defense
  • Feet: Speed
  • Sphere: HP, defense, or attack
  • Rope: Energy regeneration

160 speed is ideal, but anything over 120 is fine until you manage to farm the right substats.

HSR Elation Trailblazer teams

As you’d expect from the name, the Elation Trailblazer is meant for Elation teams, and the whole point of their ultimate is to help an Elation DPS deal even more damage. So as of HSR 4.2, your options are rather limited. For DPS options, you can pair them with:

  • Silver Wolf Lv. 999
  • Sparxie

While Yao Guang is a helpful additional amplifier, you can also use:

Thanks to their energy regeneration buffs. Any sustain is useful, though Huohuo helps with energy regeneration, too.
