Love and Deepspace may contain a surprising number of ARPG-style combat encounters for a game firmly in the romance genre, but nevertheless it is still a dating sim, and there’s a wide variety of date events available for every romanceable character. Bond dates are one of the first types you’re likely to encounter, and can be accessed via the Falling for You tab under the main Dating menu.
Bond dates are more or less what they sound like: an opportunity for the playable heroine to get to know one of the romanceable male leads in a casual setting. A Frozen Promise is one such Bond date with Zayne, unlocked after the player’s Affinity with him reaches Crush Level 10. The pair run into each other at a restaurant which only has one table available, leaving our heroine trying to break the ice with Linkon City’s frostiest medic, which proves surprisingly awkward even though they’ve known each other since childhood.
Bond dates don’t have multiple endings, but there are still a few different paths to follow, and replaying the date a few times to explore them all does bring additional rewards. Read on for a full walkthrough on how to complete A Frozen Promise in Love and Deepspace.
Love and Deepspace: A Frozen Promise walkthrough
A Frozen Promise, like all Bond dates, is a fully-voiced and fully-animated side-story with occasional interactive elements and a few choices. The date opens with the following interactive steps:

After this, the two story branches meet again, and you’ll have one more interactive step to complete before the next branching option:
Branch #2
The second branch is an action choice:
- Kinda far: Tap the window over Zayne’s shoulder

- Picky eater: Tap the plate in front of you
Choosing Option #1 adds an extra step, while the other two have no additional interactions; however, all three options have unique dialogue.

Rewards and 100% completion
Upon completing the date for the first time following any route, you’ll be rewarded with the interactive Happy Snow Seal ornament, which can be placed on the shelves in the With Him menu by editing the Decor with Zayne as the selected character.
You’ll need to play through the date three times in order to explore all the different outcomes and reach 100% completion. However, once you’ve completed the date once, you can skip straight to the branching points when replaying.
Choosing all of the different options in A Frozen Promise nets you further rewards: a generous Affinity increase with Zayne plus 50 Diamonds, 25K Gold, and the Sculpture Expert Personal Title Suffix for your namecard.
