All endings in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers and how to get them

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers has four different endings for players to experience, and which one you unlock depends on your interactions with NPCs that you meet in the land of Shu, the boss fights you do – or do not – undertake, and of course, the decisions you make.

All endings in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers and how to get them

There are four different endings to undertake in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, and you sadly cannot achieve them all in a single playthrough unless you make careful use of multiple save files.

On top of that, the endings in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers are impacted by your interactions with specific NPCs and their side quests, and in some instances, whether or not you complete certain boss fights.

Below, we’ve detailed all four of WUCHANG’s endings and exactly what you need to do – or not do – to achieve each of them.

WUCHANG Successor of the Bo ending

1. During Chapter 1, complete all dialogues with Bo Magus, either at Buddha Cliffs or later in Doomwillow Beach.
2. During Chapter 3, speak to Bo Magus at the Avian Dwelling Shrine, and choose to “Agree with…”.
3. During Chapter 4, speak to Du Yu in Annalum. When Du Yu requests help, refuse, and confirm your refusal.
4. During Chapter 4, defeat Bo Magus in the Underground Palace.

WUCHANG Dream’s Sweet Deceit ending

1. During Chapter 2, complete all quests for Fang Yao, allowing her to enter Chapter 4.
2. During Chapter 3, complete all quests for Zhao Yun. This unlocks Zhao Yun as a boss.
3. During Chapter 4, speak to Fang Yao at the Reverent Temple to receive the ‘Ring of Samsara – Cause’ and the ‘Research Journal – Scrap 3’.
4. During Chapter 4, speak to He Youzai at the Reverent Temple, and give him the ‘Ring of Samsara – Cause’ and the ‘Research Journal – Scrap 3’.
5. During Chapter 4, talk to Xuanyangzi at the Burning Cave. Do not give him the ‘Jade Feather Chisel’.
6. During Chapter 4, defeat Chongzen at the Burning Cave to enter Chapter 5.
7. Go back to Chapter 3 and defeat Zhao Yun at the Tomb to receive the ‘Amethyst Feather Chisel’.
8. During Chapter 5, defeat the Demon of Obsession at the Shrine Dwelling. Enter the altar, then choose ‘Connect the Ring of Samsara – Cause and the Ring of Samsara – Effect’ to get the ‘Ring of Samsara – Reborn’.
9. During Chapter 5, defeat Feathered Xuanyangzi at the Gate of Truth.
10. Choose ‘Enter the Land of Dream’ at the Gate of Truth.

WUCHANG Jarful of Medicine ending

1. During Chapter 4, talk to Xuanyangzi at the Burning Cave, and give him the ‘Jade Feather Chisel’.
2. During Chapter 4, talk to He Youzai at the Reverent Temple, and do not give him the ‘Research Journal – Scrap 3’.
3. During Chapter 5, defeat Feathered Xuanyangzi at the Gate of Truth.
4. Choose ‘Enter the Cycle of Samsara’ at the Gate of Truth.

WUCHANG Bound by Fate’s Threads ending

1. During Chapter 2, complete all quests for Fang Yao, allowing her to enter Chapter 4.
2. During Chapter 3, speak to Fang Yao at the Reverent Temple to receive the ‘Ring of Samsara – Cause’ and the ‘Research Journal – Scrap 3’.
3. During Chapter 4, talk to He Youzai at the Reverent Temple, and give him the ‘Research Journal – Scrap 3’. You will receive ‘Ring of Samsara – Effect’.
4. During Chapter 4, talk to Xuanyangzi at the Burning Cave, and do not give him the ‘Jade Feather Chisel’.
5. During Chapter 4, defeat Chongzen at the Burning Cave to enter Chapter 5.
6. During Chapter 5, do not go back to Chapter 3, do not beat Zhao Yun at the Tomb, and do not ‘Connect the Ring of Samsara – Cause and the Ring of Samsara – Effect’ at the Shrine Dwelling.
7. During Chapter 5, defeat Feathered Xuanyangzi at the Gate of Truth.
8. Choose ‘Enter the Land of Truth at the Gate of Truth.
