99 Nights in the Forest: Where to get bandages to revive allies

Whether you’re playing solo or as part of a team, bandages are a useful tool in 99 Nights in the Forest. They’re capable not only of healing damage from yourself and other players, but reviving downed allies when they’re defeated.

However, because they’re so useful, bandages are very rare in 99 Nights, especially in the early game.

Bandages count as a tool in 99 Nights in the Forest. This means they’re added to your hotbar and can be used in the same way as a Flashlight or weapon. Therefore you don’t have to worry about when and where you pick them up, they won’t clog up your sack space and you can come back to them quickly whenever you’re in a tight spot.

Where to get bandages in 99 Nights in the Forest

There are 4 ways to get bandages in 99 Nights:

  • Start as the Medic Class
  • Find Bandages inside chests as a rare drop
  • Inside randomly spawning hospital locations
  • Rebuild the anvil at the Anvil Base and craft them using 2 bunny feet and 2 wolf pelts

Getting bandages as a Medic

The Medic class is one of the most useful unlockable characters in 99 Nights in the Forest, simply because you get immediate access to 2 bandages. This can help you to smooth over any early game mishaps, or just skip some of the farming in the late game when you start hunting Cultist Strongholds.

As you level up the Medic however, one of your bandages is upgraded to a medkit. Medkits work the same way as bandages, only they heal more damage and revive with more hitpoints.

Get bandages from chests

Another way to get bandages in 99 Nights is to find them from regular chests. While this method is unreliable, bandages are still one of the better items you can find, particularly in the early game if you’ve already traded for a good axe and sack.

Finding bandages in chests doesn’t happen very often, but it’s still a possibility you should be aware of.

Loot from hospitals

As you expand your fireplace, more and more buildings spawn throughout the forest for you to explore.

An uncommon building that appears relatively rare is the hospital, which is stuffed to the brim with bandages.

The hospital building is also full of metal chairs, which are a good choice of scrap, as well as 4 lockers you can loot in the rear of the building.

However, beware. One of the quirks of hospitals when they spawn seems to be a particularly large pack of wolves and alpha wolves guarding its entrance. Either travel in a wolf pack of your own to take on these dangerous enemies in numbers, or get ready to run and close the door behind you when you move to explore the hospital and grab its bandages.

Crafting bandages at the Anvil Building

Finally, a late game location where you can craft a functionally unlimited amount of bandages is the Anvil Building. This late game area has a chance to spawn as you level up your fire towards the max and looks like a tall circular building.

Swarming with wolves and cultists, you’ll know the Anvil Base by the large logo on the side of the building which looks like a Blacksmith’s Anvil.

You need to use your axe to chop down the overgrown entrance, then defeat the cultists inside. Next, you need to search all of the building for the base, front and back parts of the anvil. You can climb the green vines to reach higher levels.

Add each part of the anvil to your sack, then place them in the middle of the floor on the ground level.

Once the anvil has been rebuilt, you can craft new and exciting items here. While the mighty chainsaw is the headline addition, you can also craft bandages here using 2 rabbit feet and 2 wolf pelts.
