As you’d expect from any remotely apocalyptic survival-action game, Atomfall has a bunch of underground bunkers for players to discover and explore. While many of these bunkers play a pivotal part in the game’s overarching story, with some containing items key to progressing, there are plenty that you can easily miss.
Bunkers are generally well worth exploring because they often contain an abundance of crafting supplies and loot, and more often than not, you’ll find a couple of BARD Crates containing Training Stimulants (for unlocking Skills) that we never have too many of. With that being said, here are all bunker locations in Atomfall.
All Bunker Locations in Atomfall
The only region in Atomfall to not have any underground bunkers to explore (as far as we’re aware) is Wyndham Village. Slatten Dale, Casterfell Woods, and Skethermoor on the other hand have plenty of bunkers for you to explore, and we’ve listed all of them below based on the region you’ll find them in.
We’ve also included the below map from MapGenie, which details all known key locations in the game. This includes, but isn’t limited to, bunkers. Though, all the listed locations are worth checking out!
Slatten Dale Bunkers
Bunker L8
Bunker L8 is where your adventure begins in Atomfall, as this is where you will have woken up – alongside a scientist – before exiting into the region of Slatten Dale.
Bunker L6
Bunker L6 is found in the north of Slatten Dale, just south of Molly at the Trader’s Camp. It’s a great bunker to pay a visit to early on in your playthrough, as you’ll find plenty of loot, weapons, and three Training Stimulants inside. That said, this will likely also be your first run-in with the infectious Feral enemy, so be prepared for that.
You will also find an Interchange Access note inside that will detail the coordinates of the Slatten Dale Interchange entrance, if you haven’t already found it.
Bunker L7
Bunker L7 isn’t the most exciting of bunkers. Located a short walk from Bunker L8 and just beside Slatten Dale’s Helicopter Crash Site, you’ll find Feral enemies inside, Training Stimulants, and crafting supplies. There’s also a diary to grab here, but nothing particularly wild.
Casterfell Woods Bunkers
Bunker L9
Bunker L9 is where you will find the Casterfell Woods Radio Tower Keycard, alongside some Training Stimulants and crafting supplies.
Remote Bunker (Bunker L10)
The Remote Bunker in the north of Casterfell Woods is found beside The Old Mine, and if you come here early enough in your playthrough, you’ll actually find important NPC Joyce Tanner inside. She will not be here if you have already restored power to Data Store Charlie in the Interchange, however, as she moves to this location once it is open.
The Remote Bunker is worth visiting either way though, as you’ll find plenty of supplies and two Training Stimulants inside.
Skethermoor Bunkers
Vehicle Storage Bunker (Bunker L1)
The Vehicle Storage Bunker in Skethermoor, which is just north of the region’s Radio Tower, is a pretty important bunker to visit if you want to easily get your hands on another Atomic Battery.
Now, there’s plenty of Outlaw’s inside, but if you take care of them, you’ll not only find an Atomic Battery here, but plenty of Training Stimulants, weapons, and the Skethermoor Radio Tower Keycard too.
Protocol Workshop (Bunker L3)
If you’ve wound up retrieving June’s Key and following her trail of notes during your Atomfall playthrough, you’ll eventually be directed to the Protocol Workshop in Bunker L3.
Down here, keen explorers will collect the Windfall Key and find a note teaching them about the Windfall Shipment. This particular shipment is found in another bunker, but it’s well worth grabbing the key and then seeking it out, as it’s one of two ways to get your hands on the Signal Redirector tool. You’ll also find plenty of crafting supplies, Training Stimulants, and unfortunately, Protocol Soldiers in this bunker too.
Protocol Field Station (Bunker L2)
The Protocol Field Station in Atomfall is heavily-guarded, but it’s also home to the Windfall Crate that I mentioned earlier – which contains the Signal Redirector. I recommend visiting here after exploring Bunker L3, given that’s where the Windfall Key is, but you’ll also find plenty of supplies, weapons, and Training Stimulants here.
