As I’m sure you can tell from my job sitting at a computer, drinking copious amounts of Pepsi Max and frequently complaining that my back hurts, I’ve always wanted to be a cowboy, and Far Far West is all about letting me live out the life I was born to lead.
You saddle up with up to three friends and ride forth in search of bounties to turn in for cold, hard cash, wielding various weapons and abilities while blasting away foes in towns that just so happen not to be quite big enough for both of you. However, in my traditional dream cowboy scenarios, I’m always a bit of an Arthur Morgan type. Far Far West humbled me by insisting on a more suitable surrogate cowboy for me to embody: a dinky robot outlaw held together by spare parts, rusty scrap and a dream.
And the oddities don’t end there. You’ll fight monsters, use spells, ride spectral steeds and encounter all sorts of spooky scenarios that feel more Undead Nightmare than Red Dead Redemption. To be able to survive such a perilous landscape, you’ll need to be well-equipped, and luckily, Far Far West has a code redemption system that lets you earn free goodies, including Gold. Where did all the codes go?
Hello… uh, I mean, yeehaw, bounty hunters! Callum here. If you played Far Far West during its demo period, you’re probably wondering where all the codes went. It’s basically tumbleweeds up in that codes list. After the game launched into early access, the devs removed all the demo codes and deactivated them. In turn, it looks like we’re going to have to wait for some more codes to get access to a whole heap of goodies, but keep an eye on this page and the Far Far West Discord to make sure you’re up to date.
How to redeem Far Far West codes
Ready to get yourself some rewards? Here’s how to find the secret merchant and redeem Far Far West codes:
- Launch Far Far West on Steam.
- Boot into a lobby and, when you wake in the Saloon, exit the building.
- On your left, you’ll see the gun merchant. Climb the set of stairs to the right of his shop.
- At the very top, you’ll see a shack ahead with a mystical spectral gunslinger inside. Speak to him to summon the codes bar.
- Type your code into the bar and then press “ok.”
- If your code was valid, you’ll get a notification confirming you received your goodies.
