Atomfall doesn’t give you any fancy gear or EXP to level up with as you galavant across northern England. Instead, your character improves his stats by unlocking Skills using a mixture of Skill Manuals – guide books that teach you the Skills – and Training Stimulants, which are consumables spent on unlocking the skills after you’ve learnt them.
These Skills can improve your damage output and defenses, as well as your speed when looting, crafting, healing, and more, but they come at a cost: Training Stimulants. These items are rarer than your average loot, but can still be found in abundance across the map. To help you out, here are all Training Stimulant locations in Atomfall.
All Training Stimulant Locations in Atomfall
Training Stimulants are found all over the map in Atomfall, and are typically locked away in BARD Crates or hidden in the corners of abandoned offices and so forth. While there’s plenty to find, you also need plenty of them to unlock Skills with, so never turn down an opportunity to grab one.
All known Training Stimulant locations can be found on the below map from MapGenie:
On top of the above map, we’ve listed a few key locations below where you can find more than one Training Stimulant. This is ideal for if you’ve a specific Skill you want to unlock and need just a couple more Training Stims to get you there.
Bunker L6
If you explore Bunker L6 in Slatten Dale, you will find two Training Stimulants in the same room. One will be in a BARD Crate, while another is on a nearby shelf.
Data Storeroom D
Once you restore power to Data Store Delta inside of Atomfall’s Interchange, you can then open up Data Storeroom D. You’ll first need to loot the corpse on the metal bridge in this area for the key, but inside, you’ll be able to grab two Training Stimulants.
If you then explore Robotics, which you gain access to after powering up Data Store Delta, you will find multiple BARD Crates in this area containing even more Training Stimulants.
Return Mother Jago’s Book
Mother Jago, who is found in the north of Casterfell Woods (beside The Old Mine), will task you with visiting the Druid’s Castle to find the Strange Tonic Recipe and her book. It just so happens that you will need the Strange Tonic Recipe sooner or later, and both items are in the same room, so you might as well grab the book while you’re there.
If you then return Mother Jago’s Book to her, she will give you three Training Stimulants as a reward.
It also just so happens that Castle Ruins – where the book is located – contains two BARD Crates which each have a Training Stimulant inside.
Forgotten Cellar
If you track down the Church Cellar Key in Atomfall, you’ll gain access to the Forgotten Cellar beneath St. Katherine’s Church in Wyndham Village. Here, you’ll not only meet a very important NPC, but there are three different Training Stimulants around the room to grab.
The NPC here also gives you a Keycard to access the lower level of Medical in the Interchange, where another four Training Stimulants can be found if you explore every corner of the area. There’s even more if you venture from this area into the Medical Tunnels, but be sure to bring some protection against the Infection status effect with you, such as a Strange Tonic.
Robotics Lower Level
Now, if you pay a visit to Skethermoor Prison in Atomfall and free Dr Garrow, then go meet her in the Central Processor of the Interchange, she will give you her Keycard. This provides access to the lower level of Robotics, where Dr Garrow’s quest continues, but there’s also a minimum of six Training Stimulants to be found in this area.
