Arc Raiders players have been struggling to find a particularly elusive, naturally-occurring item. We’re talking about olives here, which are required to upgrade your trusty rooster, Scrappy. In that way, they’re very similar to lemons, apricots and prickly pears.
However, unlike those fruits/vegetables, olives are much rarer, and they’re only limited to one of the game’s maps. Of course, just like all the other valuable – and requested – components, you have to go out on raids to secure them.
In this guide, we’re going to explain where olives can be found, and how to maximise your chances of a good harvest.
Where to find olives in Arc Raiders
As explained, olives are much rarer, compared to other fruits and vegetables in Arc Raiders. For one, they can only be found in the Blue Gate map. This is one of the more challenging maps in the game, and doesn’t even become available for players until they’ve put in a serious number of rounds.
Blue Gate is also where a decent number of late-game Quests take place, which means you’re going to be running into – potentially – decked-out players who may shoot first. You’re only there to harvest a few olives, of course, so perhaps you can try talking to them.
We’re going to mark olive spawn locations on the map below, but you should know that they’re typically found in olive groves towards the south and northwestern corners of the map. Look for the white olive trees, give ‘em a kick and see if olives fall off. You may also find them around the feet of the same trees.

An even better way to easily find Nature items in Arc Raiders
Olives, just like all other natural resources in Arc Raiders, have what’s effectively a season. It’s called Lush Blooms, and when it becomes active on a map, that’s your best time to go on a Nature harvest run.
Obviously, olives won’t spawn on maps where they don’t belong, but Lush Blooms significantly increases the spawn rate of all items under the Nature category. Before you head out on a raid, check the map screen and you’ll see all the different modifiers and events that are currently active.
Consider a Free Loadout
Going on a raid with a Free Loadout lowers the risk of losing your hard-earned items considerably. Yes, Free Loadouts don’t come with Safe Pockets, which can be useful on these sort of farming runs, but at least you won’t feel too bad when you get shot in the back as you’re in the middle of a harvesting animation.
That decision is ultimately up to you, however. If you have a few low-level Augments with Safe Pockets that you want to take on your harvest runs, do that. But there’s no shame in picking a Free Loadout, especially your first time around when you want to learn where things spawn.
It also goes without saying that you shouldn’t pick fights, and you should absolutely try to extract as early as you can – once you have enough of what you came for. Extracting early means you have more Extracts to choose from, which makes the process much safer.
