Arc Raiders pre-load times, release time, and everything else you need to know about launch

Arc Raiders is undoubtedly one of the most interesting launches for a multiplayer shooter this year, and perhaps one of the most anticipated for a genre as (somewhat) niche as extraction shooters.

The game comes from Embark, the developer of The Finals, and a team whose members include plenty of DICE and Battlefield series veterans.

But even if that pedigree doesn’t mean much to you, all the hype surrounding this particular release may have gotten to you – judging by how many players jumped into the game’s most recent test, at least.

In this guide, we’re going to round up all the key details about the impending launch in one place to answer any questions you might have.

Arc Raiders early access

Unlike many modern games, Arc Raiders does not offer any early access period. There are two editions you can choose from, the $40 Standard Edition, and the $60 Deluxe Edition. The more expensive edition comes with in-game currency, extra skins, emotes and a few other bits of cosmetics.

The Deluxe Edition does not let you play early, meaning everyone will get to play at the same time regardless of which edition they chose.

Arc Raiders pre-load times

Arc Raiders is available to pre-load right now. If you pre-ordered a copy of the game digitally, you should be able to grab all the necessary files now and be ready for Thursday’s launch.

Arc Raiders pre-load size

We do not have exact download sizes for Arc Raiders across the various platforms – PC (Steam/EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X/S – but according to multiple user reports online, it’s in the range of 20GB to 35GB, so plan accordingly.

Arc Raiders launch times

Much like Battlefield 6 more recently, Arc Raiders will also unlock for all players at the same time across all platforms. In other words, there’s a single launch time for everyone, which means you just need to figure out what that corresponds to in your region/time zone.

  • 2:30am PT
  • 5:30am ET
  • 6:30am BRT
  • 9:30am UK (GMT)
  • 10:30am CET
  • 1:30pm GST
  • 5:30pm HKT
  • 8:30pm AEST

Unfortunately, the two sets of specs below do not come with any resolution and framerate targets, but finding footage online from people running various PC configurations shouldn’t be hard – if you want an idea of what to expect.
