Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is out this week, and for those with early access it’s 48 hours sooner. Sony hasn’t provided an official map of the Death Stranding 2 release times, but with a rolling midnight launch it can get pretty confusing. To save figuring out when Death Stranding 2 launches in your area, we’ve got all of the release times for every region below, thanks to a countdown that appears in the Deluxe Edition version of the game upon pre-installing it.
There are two separate release dates for Death Stranding 2. The first is the early access version for those of you that purchased the Digital Deluxe or Collector’s Edition of the game, and this will be released on June 24. The full release date is June 26, for everyone else. Since the early access version is advertised as 48 hours prior to the full release, this ensures that we know the release times for both versions.
Since PlayStation uses a rolling midnight release schedule, Death Stranding 2 will be available at midnight in the easternmost timezone of your area. For example, in the US, Death Stranding 2 will be released at midnight in New York, which is on Eastern Time. 11:00 PM in Chicago, which is on Central Time, and 9:00 PM in Los Angeles, which is on Pacific Time.
You can use similar calculations to work out when Death Stranding 2 is released in each Australian time zone–as long as you set the easternmost zone as midnight, it’s easy to work out the rest.
