The first expansion for Diablo IV, Vessel of Hatred, was released earlier this month to critically acclaim from players. Now, Blizzard has found a way to bring a little touch of darkness from the game into the real world by allowing people in Los Angeles and New York to have evil flowers delivered to the special frenemies in your life.
This sinister Vases of Hatred floral arrangement was designed by celebrity florist Dead Flowers and inspired by the events of the expansion. Within the game, the villain Mephisto has the ability to infect and corrupt plant life and almost anything he touches. The flowers come in a vase that was designed to invoke Nahantu, the newly introduced location in the game that is under Mephisto’s control.

According to the announcement, the floral arrangement includes “a collection of carnivorous flowers and trypophobia-inducing buds, with stems and leaves singed by the fires of hell.” There may have been some creative liberties taken with that description. But even if there’s no one in your life that you’d want to send these flowers to, there is an in-game reward–the Little Lady mount bundle–for doing so.
The official site for Vases of Hatred has all of the details for ordering the flowers for people in Los Angeles and New York. However, the promotion will only run as long as the supply of flowers is still on hand. Everyone outside of New York or LA can also get the in-game reward after sending someone the evil flowers digital card.
