Quick and Easy Way to Get The Personality Passive You Want!

The Problem with Passives
Getting the right passive skills for your Digimon was a hassle. Changing a Digimon’s personality by talking to them after every few battles was slow. Often, the conversation choices only let you change the personality in the wrong direction.
Even reloading a saved game to try again took too long. It was almost faster to just grind and convert new Digimon until you got one with the correct passive, but that wasn’t efficient either.
The Better Solution: The DigiFarm
The DigiFarm is the most effective way to control your Digimon’s passive. Even farm training takes time or costs a lot of in-game money, but you can use it to quickly get the passives you want.
How to Force the Right Passive
- Each training area in the DigiFarm shifts your Digimon’s personality in a specific direction. When choosing, make sure to check the Digimon details view for each training zone to see which direction your personality will shift.
- Your goal is to get the passive indicator (+) on the personality grid to be close to, but not completely inside, the zone that contains the passive you want.
- Once the indicator is positioned correctly, you know that training in that direction will give you a chance to learn the desired passive.
- This is where you need to save-scum (or risk spending a lot of money). Save your game, and then complete the training.
- If done right, the game should say your Digimon is trying to learn a new passive. This means you are guaranteed to get the passive associated with that zone.
- Since this method is more predictable than talking to the Digimon, you can reload your save until you get the specific skill you need much faster.
Keeping Your Passive
You can shift your Digimon’s personality back to a different zone for stat changes later, and you will keep the passive you learned. Just be sure to select not to get a new passive when the prompt appears. You’ll still get the stat gains from leveling in the new zone.
