Studio Rebel Wolves has announced that it will host a reveal livestream for its debut game, The Blood of Dawnwalker, on January 13 at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET. Coincidentally, that date will also be the next time a full moon will appear.
In a tweet, Rebel Wolves said, “Witness the premiere of a CGI trailer serving as the game’s opening, learn about the game’s pillars and main concepts, have a tiny first glimpse into its gameplay… and much more.” The studio already revealed the game’s official title and logo, as well as the fact that it will be published by Bandai Namco.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is a dark fantasy RPG that’s being built in Unreal Engine 5. The studio was founded by former CD Projekt Red Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz in February 2022. Other people working on The Blood of Dawnwalker include design director Daniel Sadowski, narrative director Jakub Szamalek, animation director Tamara Zawada, and art director Bartłomiej Gaweł.
In November 2022, NetEase acquired a minority stake in Rebel Wolves, and the studio retained full creative control and ownership of its IP.
CD Projekt Red is currently working on The Witcher 4, which got a reveal trailer at The Game Awards 2024. This time around, Ciri is the main character, but previous protagonist Geralt will still make an appearance.
