Starter Guide
By Armored Neko.
Don’t worry about rerolling – you’ll get lots of free pulls later anyway. Use the Rewind feature to fix mistakes in missions, and use Sweep to auto-complete missions you’ve already beaten. Girls Frontline 2: Exilium is very generous to free players, but if you want to spend money, the battle pass is your best choice.
Early Game (Level 1-40):
Focus on story missions to level up your account. Do your daily tasks for extra experience. You’ll need to do three types of farming:
- Character XP (in Depth Exploration)
- Weapon XP (in Equipment Analysis)
- Materials for upgrades (in Decision Confirmation)
Don’t worry about wasting resources on weapons – you get materials back when you break them down. Your starting team can handle everything at this point. Try Groza, Cheeta, Krolik, and Sharkry – they work well together.
Middle Game (Level 40-50):
Leveling gets slower now. Do your daily tasks and use your regular stamina. Save your stamina refills for later when they’re more useful. Area-damage characters become less useful as enemies get tougher, except for Verply who’s still good. Start farming for weapon attachments (in Targeted Research) and gold (in Standardized Synchronization). Purple attachments are fine for now. Start doing Intel Assessment missions for skill materials.
Late Game (Level 50-60):
Your characters get much stronger after level 50. This is when you focus on getting better weapon attachments. Wait until level 58 for the best equipment.
For attachments:
- Damage dealers: Use Anomalous Strike sets
- Healers: Use Emergency Repair sets
- Tanks: Use Damage Reduction Support sets
- Some characters need special sets like Live Ammo Amplification
You can now try everything else: PVP, Boss Challenges, Peak Estimation, Advanced Training, and limited events. Don’t stress about missing character banners – they come back regularly.

Stamina Tips
Advice on efficiently spending your stamina:
Please focus your resources solely on raising your doll’s stats in the early game, this includes Depth Exploration, Equipment Analysis, Decision Conformation (Resources stages) and Intel Assessment (Simulation stages).
For mid to late game it is highly recommended you put 100% (yes, 110%) of your stamina into attachment gacha (Targeted Research) since it is the only way to increase your doll’s combat capability assuming most if not all of your dolls and weapons are already level 60 with fully unlocked skill trees. In your late game, most of the doll/weapon levelling resources can be obtained during event exchanges and clear rewards so don’t worry about that.
The simulation stage daily quest can be done with game modes that do not require stamina eg. Boss Challenge, Live Combat Drill. So just go ham and put all your stamina in equipment attachments gacha (and still get jackshit since the odds are absurdly low).
Standardized Synchronization is not worth it because the gold it gave is pathetic compared to other methods of gold acquisition eg. events exchange, blue ticket exchange, clear rewards etc. You can clear it for the sake of getting the first clear reward and farm achievement (which requires you to clear this 100 times).
