You can get more pet slots in Grow a Garden on Roblox – but it’ll cost you. Grow a Garden starts you with just three slots, though you can eventually unlock five more for a total of eight pets. Spending Robux is one method, but there’s a free method, too, assuming you’re willin to part with some of your existing pets.

Grow a Garden: How to get more pet slots
Speak with the pet and egg salesman, Raphael, and scroll until you get the option to pick “Show me pet info.” You can also just click the “shop” icon to open the in-game shop, navigate to the “Pets” section, and click “Free Upgrades.”
Here, you’ll see a new menu banner: Trade In Pets For Extra Pet Equip Slots. Under that is a blanked-out button with text that reads “trade in selected pet.” Trading in aged pets unlocks a new equippable pet slot, though you have to meet specific age requirements. Unlocking the first additional pet slot requires you to trade in a pet that’s at least level 20, the second requires a pet that’s at least level 30, and so on.
Once you have a pet that meets those requirements, pick them up so they’re in your inventory, open the trade-in menu, click the pet you want to trade, and then click the “trade in selected pet” button. You’ll instantly unlock your new slot.
Pets take a long time to age, though, so don’t go sending them off on a whim unless you know you won’t miss out by not having them around anymore. In other words, it’s best to unlock new pet slots gradually instead of trying to get all five extra slots as soon as you can.
