You may have heard the expression about “seeing the wood for the trees”, but what about seeing the Woody Plants in your farm in Grow a Garden?
To grow Jack’s magical beanstalk along with the rest of your server to visit the Land of the Giants in the clouds and claim your unique rewards, sometimes you will need to track down “Woody Plants” to feed the growing sprout. However, it’s not clear what exactly that means.
You can’t just sit back and let everyone else do the work though, because you’ll need to contribute at least 7 times to the growth of the beanstalk to be able to climb it.
Woody Plants are just one of the different Plant Types Jack can ask for to help grow his beanstalk, but they’re definitely one of the most confusing.
Here’s everything that counts as a Woody Plant in Grow a Garden.

Thankfully the most basic plant, Apples, are pretty easy to come by, even for new players. They also grow quickly enough that you’ll be able to contribute a few inventory loads of Apples before the beanstalk decays; or other eager beavers pile in all the points you need to grow the beanstalk.
So why would you contribute anything else then? Well, the rarer the plant you contribute, the more points towards the beanstalk you get. This is good for when you’re trying to build the beanstalk on your own, or just want to get to the top more quickly. It might also be the case that you’re such a high-level player that there’s no room on your plot for the lowly Apple, so you need to go for something more exciting just for the sake of space.
