Gossips in Heartopia are mini-quests that occasionally populate somewhat randomly, but seem to have a higher chance of cropping up after you complete a regular daily request for the quest giver. Most of them are very straightforward to complete, but some – like Alu’s Treasure, given to you by Naughty – are leaving players stumped.

How to complete Alu’s Treasure in Heartopia
When setting this quest, Naughty explains that he and his friend Alu enjoy devising treasure hunts for one another – but while Alu can always easily solve Naughty’s riddles, Naughty can never figure out where his friend has hidden the latest prize.
Alu’s only clue on this occasion is “water amidst rocks”, which Naughty has narrowed down to mean the Stonehenge area of Onsen Mountain. Beyond that though, he’s got no idea – which is why he’s handing the task of finding the treasure over to the player.
Despite the quest description in your journal also mentioning “when moonlight shines” as part of the clue, you do not in fact need to wait for a specific time of day to search. I went to the spot in the afternoon and found what I was looking for.
The “treasure” in question is a clothing gift bubble that’s circling around the perimeter of the capybara Stonehenge in Onsen Mountain’s Ruins area — which makes Alu’s “clue” a bit of a cheat, since there sure is water-amidst-rocks in the vicinity, but it’s not exactly close to the exact location of his treasure.
Pop the bubble to receive a fetching pair of Star & Moon Earrings, as well as Naughty’s other rewards for completing his quest (400 Coins and a wreath wall decoration for some reason).
