Sony has unveiled its PS Plus monthly game offerings for January.
The three games below will be available to all PlayStation Plus members regardless of tier subscription from Tuesday 6th January to Monday 2nd February.
- Need for Speed Unbound | PS5
- Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed | PS5, PS4
- Core Keeper | PS5, PS4
We didn’t review Core Keeper, I’m afraid, but Matt thought the Epic Mickey remaster was “transformative”, writing: “In its original guise Epic Mickey was a bit of a disappointment, its clever design, admirable ambition, and a bold approach to its source material undone by just a little too much mechanical awkwardness.”
Former editor-in-chief Martin similarly had a good time with Need for Speed Unbound, stating in his 2022 ‘Recommended’ review that “Criterion takes the reins once more for an arcade racer that’s capable of going toe-to-toe with the all-conquering Forza Horizon.”
Don’t forget that when we welcome in new games, we must also wave goodbye to others. Lego Horizon Adventures (PS5). Killing Floor 3 (PS5), The Outlast Trials (PS4/5), Synduality Echo of Ada (PS5), and Neon White (PS4/5) are all on the way out, so you only have until 6th January to add those to your library.
