So, you’ve found yourself in Atomfall’s Casterfell Woods, where Druids are in abundance and most of the region’s remaining NPC’s have lost their marbles. One such NPC, who has a few screws loose, is Prudence Rook of Datlow Hall, who gives you free reign of the entire place except the conservatory. What could she possibly be hiding in there?
To get your hands on the Datlow Hall Conservatory Key, you’ll need to track down where the Groundskeeper, Jenks, has gone off to. To help you out, here’s how to access Datlow Hall Conservatory in Atomfall.
How to access Datlow Hall Conservatory in Atomfall
First things first, if you haven’t already in Atomfall, go and speak to Prudence Rook inside of Datlow Hall. She quite clearly has a few screws loose and isn’t all that aware of the ongoing quarantine, though she does mention that you can explore Datlow Hall in its entirety, as long as you steer clear of the Conservatory.
She also mentions that she only trusts groundskeeper, Jenks, with the key to the Conservatory.
Now, there are dialogue options here to try and convince Prudence that you are Jenks and that she should hand over the key. This felt a bit mean in my experience, so I wasn’t able to test if it actually works, but we’ll update this page when we can confirm if that has her handing over the key early or not.
Instead, I spoke to her about Jenks some more, and she eventually revealed that he was paying a visit to Casterfell Dam, north-west of the hall. So, that’s where we’re headed next.
In Casterfell Dam, Jenks can be found to the east of the area, and unfortunately, there’s no chance he’ll be coming back to Datlow Hall anytime soon. Retrieve the letter from his body and return to Prudence in Datlow Hall to inform her of your findings.
She isn’t very phased by the news, and immediately hires you as Jenks replacement, even calling you Jenks. She’ll then also hand over the Conservatory Key, so you can finally see what’s being hidden away in there.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any wild discoveries to be made here, aside from the bones of what I can only assume to be Charity – a lady residing in Datlow Hall that Prudence talks of – as well as an I Hear The Voices Note which gives you a new lead. There’s also plenty of supplies here, as well as a Stealth Manual which will unlock some new Skills for you.
You can return to Prudence again to talk some more about Charity’s fate, if you fancy.
