How to add friends in Heartopia
To make friends in Heartopia, you need to follow these steps:
- First you need to reach D.G. Member level 4 and unlock the Friendship Journal
- Once you’ve unlocked the Friendship Journal, open it and press the magnifying glass in the bottom left corner to open a box where you can enter their UID
- To find your own UID you need to open your smartwatch and press your portrait at the top, next to the time. Here you will be able to see your UID under your picture
- After you’ve entered your friend’s UID, they’ll get a friend request, which you’ll be notified when they accept
How to play with friends in Heartopia
To play with your friends in Heartopia, you need to:
- Add your friend to your Friendship Journal using their UID
- Go into your Friendship Journal and select “visit” underneath their picture
- You will then be prompted to teleport to their town, where you will be able to find them at their picture on the map
There are various unique actions you can undertake with friends in Heartopia, with a total of 10 levels. At level 1 you can send them postcards, visit them, chat, hold hands and high five.
As you perform more actions over multiple days your bond will grow, giving you access to more unique emotes.
Finally, at friendship level 3 you will be able to invite them to “join co-build” with you, allowing you to create shared spaces.
