You’ll need to be quick and compete with other players to reel in the flagship catch of the Lovetides 2 event in Fisch, the Lovestorm Turtle.
Like other hunts in Fisch, when this giant purple beast spawns in the ocean, there’s only one available in the entire server, so here’s what you need to do to land one for yourself!
Where to find the Lovestorm Turtle in Fisch
Unlike other event fish, you don’t actually find the Lovestorm Turtle within the Lovetides 2 event area (which is accessed through the portal in Moosewood).
To track down the Lovestrom Turtle, you need to wait for a “Supercharged Lovestorm” Hunt to spawn in your server.
Next, spawn one of your boats and jet out into the ocean and look for the giant purple and black Turtle circling in the ocean with the thunder and lightning of a storm brewing in the middle of where it’s swimming.
If you equip your Fish Radar you’ll see the area where the Turtle is swimming marked as the Supercharged Lovestorm.
Within this area you can catch normal ocean fish, limited event fish and the Lovestorm Turtle itself.
When the Turtle is caught by a player, a notification will appear at the top of your screen and the storm will pass. You will probably also see the player who caught it pulling the Turtle out of the water. It’s huge!
You’ll have the best chance of taking home the turtle if you’re using a high-level or end-game fishing rod, but you never know who will get lucky. Either way, chasing Supercharged Lovestorms is actually quite a good way to fill out your event Bestiary, as the regular chance of getting the limited fish within the event area is relatively low.
