How to change your hair in Heartopia

Changing your hairstyle in Heartopia is easy, and you can do it right from the beginning from the game with a little legwork.

In the cozy world of Heartopia there’s nothing to worry about other than exploring a friendly world filled with animals and adventure, but there’s no reason not to do so looking your best!

While there are tons of clothes and accessories to collect and choose from, you can also find new hairstyles in Heartopia’s gacha system, as well as grab them in-game.

If you’re having a bad hair day, here are a couple of ways you can change your hair from the default in Heartopia, or change up your style if you’re looking for something different.

How to change your hair in Heartopia

There are two ways to change your hairstyle in Heartopia:

  • Visit the hair salon on the second floor of Dorothee’s clothes store in town
  • Build a mirror in your home and interact with it to re-open the character creation menu

To use the hair salon, simply head to the clothes shop in the Central Square of town and climb the staircase to the second floor. Behind the styling chairs at the back of the salon you can interact with the mirror to open the creation menu.

Outside of the meagre materials needed to craft the mirror (although I think I got one from a random floating bubble), both of these methods are completely free and can be used over and over without penalty or wasting your hard-earned gold.

A basic Joinery Floor Mirror costs just 2 timber, 6 stone and 3 high-quality lumber to build.

If you’re in need of an extra boost in the form of Wishing Stars and materials, be sure to check out our up-to-date list of Heartopia codes, where you can get some free high-quality lumber.
