How to collect and spend Contribution Points in Crimson Desert

Contribution Points in Crimson Desert are more than just a meaningless counter that tallies your completed tasks. You can actually spend these points at special merchants to get unique rewards which show off the best of what each region has to offer.

For an indomitable warrior capable of defeating literally dozens of enemies in one battle, Kliff sure is a nice guy. He’s always happy to lend a hand to someone in need, even if they don’t outwardly deserve it, while also lending his well-trained hands to doling out justice to nefarious ne’er-do-wells throughout the land.

Here’s what you need to know about your Contribution Level and Contribution Points in Crimson Desert and, more importantly, how to spend them!

How do you get more Contribution Points?

In Crimson Desert, Contribution Points are a measure of your success in a particular region of the game’s vast continent. To get more, you need to raise your Contribution Level in a specific area, for example, the city of Hernand.

To raise your Contribution Level, you need to:

  • Complete quests in a given region
  • Collect NPC requests from the town board and complete them
  • Collect bounties in a given region by finding wanted posters and catching the criminal

On completion of the activity you will see a bar fill in the top left-hand corner of your screen. Whenever the bar hits full, you get a Contribution Point, which you can then trade for region-specific prizes.

Where do you spend Contribution Points?

To spend your accumulated points, you need to seek out the Contribution Trader in a specific town or city. They’re usually in the vicinity of the castle or seat of power in the region, owing to their official status and ability to give out goodies to those who’ve served the local good.

For example, in Hernand, the Contribution Trader is found just inside the first gate of the castle grounds.

Enter, and you’ll be able to trade your points for decent armor, quality jewelry and clothing, and unique weapons.
