Fisch’s cultist lair update added, well, a giant cultist lair to explore, full of NPCs, new quests, more fish, and a fresh rod – assuming you can reach it. Finding the cultist lair’s entrance is hardly intuitive, and you need a sea turtle to get started.
Below, we explain where to get a sea turtle in Fisch and how to get into the cultist’s lair.
Where to get a sea turtle in Fisch
Before you start your sea turtle hunt, speak to the Sea Traveler at 151, 150, 2033, on Terrapin Island south of Moosewood. Chat with him several times, and then start fishing around Terrapin Island. You’ll eventually find a sea turtle, and Terrapin Island is the only place to find a sea turtle in Fisch, at least as of the time of writing.
The community’s collective polling shows that you have a roughly three percent chance of catching a sea turtle regardless of which rod you use, whether it’s the highly recommended Ethereal Prism rod or the Rod of the Forgotten Fang.
If you’re having rotten luck catching a sea turtle, you can also just skip this step and go straight to the Cultist Lair entrance using the coordinates below.
How to get to the Cultist Lair in Fisch
With sea turtle in hand, head back to the Sea Traveler. Chat with him until he gives you the Sea Traveler Note. It directs you to these coordinates on Terrapin Island: 0, 150, 2000. Before you set out, make sure you have the Sundial Totem and Smokescreen Totem, as you’ll need to adjust the time and weather to access the cultist lair.
Once you have those, head to the coordinates, climb the path behind the fisherman, and enter the cave via the entrance behind two trees. Use the totems to make night fall and cause foggy weather, and you’ll see a lever appear. Pull it to open the Cultist Lair entrance.
