Various map events in Arc Raiders provide unique challenges for players to tackle, including those with built-in requirements for accessing some extra good items. One of these is the Locked Gate event on Blue Gate, which tasks the lobby with finding four codes to unlock a massive gate housing underground tunnels full of loot. Like Spaceport’s Hidden Bunker event, this one will take some exploration and time to unlock, so let’s dive into how it all works.
How to open the locked gate on Blue Gate
To open the locked gate during the Locked Gate event, players in the lobby must find four security codes in four specific places on the Blue Gate map. There is one security code in each of the following POIs:
- Ancient Fort
- Pilgrim’s Peak
- Raider’s Refuge
- Reinforced Reception
Once you arrive at one of these POIs, loot every container there until you or another player finds that location’s code, then move to the next POI. Do your best to work together with other players in the lobby to prevent unnecessary overlap–meaning that if you see someone else, always ask if they’ve found one of the codes, or offer to split up and find codes at different POIs to keep things moving efficiently.
All four codes must be taken to the Gate Control Room in the center of the map and placed inside their respective terminals.
There are four terminals in this room. If you have a code, place it in the appropriate terminal. You can also walk up to each terminal to see if it’s already been activated, which can help you determine which codes are still required. This can help you plan out your next steps.

When all four codes have been inserted, the gate will open. At this point, you’ll need to reach it and start looting. Keep reading for more on where to find this gate and what to expect inside.
Where to find the locked gate on Blue Gate
You can find the locked gate at the northeastern tip of the Checkpoint POI, which is located in the center of Blue Gate. Luckily, it’s just ever-so-slightly west of the Gate Control Room, making it a quick trek there after finishing with the codes. This is a popular spot during any raid, and it’ll be even more populated during this event due to the unique loot found inside once the gate is open, so be mindful of other raiders.
If you’re used to playing on Blue Gate, you’ll probably notice this gate is typically open on a standard raid–but because of the special event, it will be locked until the codes have been inserted and the lockdown is lifted.
Once all four codes have been used, the locked gate will immediately open, meaning you’ll want to get there as fast as possible. As such, it’s best not to venture too far from the Checkpoint POI unless the lobby is still actively seeking the security codes.
Arc Raiders locked gate loot
You’ll find above-average loot in the underground tunnels behind the locked gate. The Locked Gate event improves your chances of higher rarity items like blue and purple guns, as well as coveted blueprints. Perhaps the most appealing reason to complete this event–and the one most players tend to be after–is the Bobcat blueprint, which is only available during this Locked Gate event.
The good news for Bobcat blueprint seekers, though, is that the item can spawn anywhere on the map during the Locked Gate event, meaning you don’t necessarily have to search the underground tunnels after the gate opens to find one. However, the chances of discovering this highly sought-after blueprint are increased behind the gate’s door, so if you want to improve your chances, it’s a good idea to head down there and start looting.
