On the lava-filled isle of Dragon’s Breath in Catch a Monster, a mysterious castle lies at the back of the island locked to all who try to enter.
However, with Catch a Monster’s latest update, you can now gain access to this secret area and investigate for yourself. But only if you can find 3 tough to find items: Abyssal Talon, Breath Crystal and Flarecrest’s Feather.
Here’s everything you need to do!
Where to find Abyssal Talon
To find Abyssal Talon on Dragon’s Breath, go to the middle of the island and look up on the cliff above the Nivisigons.
Next to the red-and-white striped lighthouse, you find the spawn point of the Abyssal Talon, which will appear every few minutes in the same location.
Where to find Breath Crystal
To get a Breath Crystal, wait for the special weather called Draconic Twilight to appear during the Blood Moon on Dragon’s Breath Island.
When there’s Draconic Twilight, go to the sparkling tower to the left of the castle and there will be a Breath Crystal waiting at the bottom.
Like the Abyssal Talon it respawns in the same spot, but you only need 1 for the door.
Where to find Flarecrest’s Feather
The Flarecrest’s Feather item is kind of the easiest, but also the hardest to find out of the three.
It’s a rare drop from Noxicrow, which is the first monster at the entrance to Dragon’s Breath island.
However, if you’re familiar with how item drops work in Catch a Monster, you will have to grind through a lot of these mobs to actually get your hands on 3 Flarecrest’s Feather. But like with the others, it’s technically just a matter of time.
How to open the secret door in Catch a Monster
Finally, with all the items in your inventory, interact with the lower castle door and a new menu where you can make your offering will appear!
