Monopoly Go players this week have seen the epic Adventure Club event finally make a return with the launch of Adventure Club Vikings.
This new event marks the second Adventure Club campaign, and comes months after the very first installment in the series debuted at the end of 2024 – which was Haunted Mansion. If you didn’t try out Adventure Club when it first launched in the run-up to last Christmas, you may not be sure how exactly it works and what to expect.
If that’s the case, don’t fear adventurers, we’re here to help! We’ve put together this guide on how to play Monopoly Go Adventure Club Vikings, which has everything you need to know to get started.
How to start Adventure Club Vikings
The very first thing you need to do in Adventure Club Vikings is assemble a team for the event. Just like with a Partner Event or a Racers event, you can team-up with your in-game friends or strangers in Adventure Club. This time around though, teams are much bigger and you need to join forces with eight other players.
On the first day the event runs you’ll have time to build your team before the latest adventure kicks off. If you send out invitations to other players and they don’t accept in time then fret not, Monopoly Go will automatically fill any remaining slots with other players.
Adventure Club Vikings event currency
To progress through Adventure Club Vikings, you’ll need plenty of currency for the event. Currency is used to for all the main actions in the event, and it can be collected by playing other events like Viking Voyage, from Quick Wins and from the free gift that is available every eight hours in the Monopoly Go Shop.
How to play the Adventure Club Vikings event
Once you’ve got your team sorted and you’ve collected some currency, you’ll be ready to start your adventure! We’re still waiting for the main campaign part of the Adventure Club event to start, but it should work in the same way as the Haunted Mansion event.
An Adventure Club campaign is divided up into different levels, each with multiple areas for players to explore, items they can interact with and objectives they need to hit. To complete these objectives, you’ll need to tap on certain objects in a level, which will begin a card based mini-game.
This mini-game is similar to Blackjack, and winning at it is crucial to progressing through the Adventure Club campaign. Whenever you play the mini-game, you’ll be presented with three sets of two cards which each have a number assigned to them. You then need to use the event currency you’ve accumulated to select one of these sets and draw two cards. The cards you draw need to exceed the total shown on the set you had selected to try and beat.
Every time you win at this mini-game, you’ll add to the progress bar for one of objectives in the Adventure Club campaign. Collectively, your team will work together to clear each objective and milestone and move onto different levels. The card game also has different buffs that can help you beat it if you’re struggling.
Adventure Club Vikings rewards
There are a variety of rewards that players can claim in Adventure Club Vikings, including free dice and much more.
Here are the rewards available in Adventure Club Vikings:

Players can also come across treasure chests on different levels, which they can open if they hit certain objectives.
When does the Adventure Club Vikings event end?
The Adventure Club Vikings event is only available in Monopoly Go for a limited amount of time. It launched on Tuesday 22 April 2025 and it ends on Sunday 27 April 2025. Unlike other events, so far Scopely has only held Adventure Club campaigns on two occasions – with a gap of four months in between each one. We’ll have to wait and see whether there will be a long wait again if Scopely decides to hold another Adventure Club event after this one.
