Blocks Boutique is a brand new event that has launched in Monopoly Go this week.
It’s got a cosy vibe which is perfectly matched for all the other autumn content that’s arrived in the app recently, like the latest Sticker Album. The bulk of the event is spent playing a Tetris-style mini-game, which will help cafe boss Cynthia come up with new drink recipes to serve to her customers.
The relaxing event offers players a nice change of pace, but it still dishes out plenty of useful rewards like extra dice rolls and sticker packs. If you’re planning on trying it out, we’ve rounded-up everything you need to know about the Monopoly Go Blocks Boutique event.
How to play the Blocks Boutique event
The objective of the Blocks Boutique event is to help Cynthia come up with new drinks recipes for her cosy, Monopoly Go cafe. To do this, you’ll play a Tetris-style mini-game which has a bit of a twist.
Every time you go to craft a recipe in Blocks Boutique, you’ll be presented with an eight by eight grid which has a number of blocks already on it and empty spaces. You need to drag and drop the blocks from the bottom of your screen and place them on the grid.
These blocks come in different shapes and sizes, and you need to create complete rows and columns to clear them. There is a slight twist though – each recipe you’re trying to create requires a certain amount of ingredients. These ingredients appear on the grid when you start crafting a recipe, and also on the shapes of blocks you’re placing on the grid. The ingredients take up one square on the grid, and you’ll want to make sure they appear on the row or column you’re clearing. When you’ve gathered everything you need for each recipe, the drink will be complete and you’ll move onto the next one.

Monopoly Go Blocks Boutique tips
There are a few things you need to bear in mind if you want to succeed at the Blocks Boutique event. First of all, while it shares a lot in common with Tetris, unlike that Game Boy classic you can’t rotate the blocks you’re trying to place. So you only have a limited amount of ways you can place the blocks and complete a recipe.
You’ll also have to spend Blocks Boutique currency every time you want to move a block, so you’ll want to try and clear each stage in as few moves as possible. There is one thing that can help you use each move wisely though – when you drag and try to place a shape of blocks on the grid, the squares will be highlighted in red if there’s no way it can be placed. The grid will be highlighted in green if the blocks can be placed on the grid in that area, which helps plan out the best moves available to you.
You’ll also want to keep an eye out on the number of ingredients you need to clear each stage. Sometimes, you only need a few ingredients to finish a recipe, so if you can see a row or column that already has a few ingredients and is almost complete you’ll want to focus your efforts on clearing those rows.
Finally, if you’re almost out of moves and need extra currency for the Blocks Boutique event, there’s the free gift that unlocks every eight hours in the Monopoly Go in-game store that you can use. If you have plenty of dice available, you can also use roll multipliers to try and get through the events and tournaments that are running right now quickly. These events also dish out plenty of extra currency for Blocks Boutique.
Monopoly Go Blocks Boutique rewards
You’ll get rewards like dice and sticker packs for completing each recipe in the Blocks Boutique event. Whenever you complete a recipe for a drink, the drink will also be placed randomly on a display cabinet that’s made up of a six by six grid.
Once you complete a row and a column in the cabinet you’ll receive the event’s Grand Prize, which offers:
- The Mr. Mug token
- 1,500 Dice Rolls
- Six purple Sticker packs
Besides all this, once you reach the seventh recipe in the event a new type of block will appear that you can clear – the Gift Box block. These blocks appear as red squares, and if you complete a row or column that features a Gift Box block you’ll receive rewards like extra rolls, cash, and currency for the Blocks Boutique event.
When does the Blocks Boutique event end?
The Blocks Boutique event ends at 1pm PDT, 4pm EDT, 8pm GMT and 9pm CET on Sunday 26 October 2025.
