The deceptively vast and varied open-world of Heartopia actually gives quite a large area of home plots to build your dream house; you just need to unlock them first!
It’s very easy to miss the notification that you’ve been awarded extra building plots, then it can also be tricky to find the menu where you actually do the unlock, as it’s hidden within another couple of menus.
Finally, when you finally find the right menu, the unlock conditions it lists aren’t very illuminating, so here’s what you need to do to expand your housebuilding space in Heartopia!
How to unlock home plots in Heartopia
To get more space to build your house in Heartopia, you need to complete the following steps:
- Raise your D.G. Member’s Guild level until you unlock additional plots. The first plot upgrade occurs at D.G. Member level 4, then again at level 6 and so on
- Open your smartwatch and select the D.G. Member’s Guild icon, then press the plot icon in the top righthand corner
- From here, select the plot you which to unlock, then pay the gold fee to access it
While the first couple of plots are very affordable, they get progressively more and more expensive, and can be quite the gold sink.
Unlocking more home plots not only gives you more space to build, plant and create your very own farmstead, but also increases your “load”, expanding the amount of items and decorations you can place.
