If none of the original trio of romantic interests in Love and Deepspace really did it for you, then the good news is that Infold Games do seem to plan on continually expanding the roster, even if they’re not dropping a new character every month like many other gacha games.
The first new love interest introduced post-launch was Sylus, who joined the crew in the LaDS’ Version 2 update in July 2024 and is a bit more of a bad boy than Rafayel, Xavier, or Zayne. You know, just in case you’re into that kind of thing.
However, depending on how far you are through Love and Deepspace’s main story, it’s possible that you’re still looking for Sylus in all the wrong places. On this page, we go over everything you need to know about how to unlock Sylus in Love and Deepspace.
How to unlock Sylus in Love and Deepspace
If you want to go on dates with Sylus or interact with him in Destiny Café, you first need to advance to the point in LaDS’ story where he gets introduced.
You’ll meet Sylus at the start of the game’s second major chapter, Long-Awaited Revelry, but you need to clear the entire first mission (Ambiguous Chaos) by playing through the first eight sub-missions and completing the mission story before you can start to gain Affinity with him. At this point, Sylus becomes available to romance and socialise with on the identical terms to the game’s initial three love interests.
While LaDS does present you with the option to skip some of the first main chapter’s story in order to get to Long-Awaited Revelry faster, note that this is not the intended way to experience the story and will spoil you for the denouement of chapter one (Under Deepspace). So maybe avoid this option unless your only interest in this game is in romancing Sylus as quickly as possible.
How to unlock Sylus’ Memories in Love and Deepspace
The good news for players who want to begin collecting Sylus’ cards is that his Memories are unlocked in the gacha and as part of event rewards for everyone following his introduction, regardless of whether you’ve encountered him in-story yet.
