IO Interactive revises (and reduces) 007 First Light PC system specs after gamers highlight “inconsistencies” in previous versions

IO Interactive has released a new set of PC specs for its upcoming Bond origin game, 007 First Light. This is following “inconsistencies” in the previous versions, which were brought to its attention by the community.

According to the developer, these inconsistencies were due to “internal miscommunication”, which resulted in previous versions of the game’s PC specs being shared. IO has now conducted further testing, and made corrections to 007 First Light’s PC specifications, including updated VRAM values, a reduction in the recommended RAM (it’s gone from 32GB to 16GB) and the minimum CPU line “has been fixed”.

The studio apologised for any confusion it caused with its earlier specifications, adding it will be sharing additional performance targets for 007 First Light closer to the game’s launch in May.
