After years of development, the RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance II from Warhorse Studios is out now, and it’s putting up huge numbers on Steam. The game has exceeded 150,000 concurrent users on Steam, just hours after launch, and is the No. 1 top-selling game on Steam in the US right now. The game is also available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The game’s launch is drawing praise from other RPG studios, including The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red. The developer said, “Congratulations on the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II! May your blade always be sharp, cup never run dry, and the path stay safe!”

GameSpot’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 review scored the game an 8/10, while other outlets scored it highly as well. On GameSpot sister site Metacritic, the game has an aggregate rating of 88 and 89 on OpenCritic.
Swen Vincke, the head of Baldur’s Gate 3 studio Larian, congratulated Warhorse on the game’s positive review scores.
