Nightly Stroll: How to complete Rafayel’s first Bond date in Love and Deepspace

Bond dates are some of the most F2P friendly date events in Love and Deepspace, since all you need to do to unlock one is achieve the requisite Affection level with your chosen love interest – no gacha pulls needed on this occasion.

Nightly Stroll is Rafayel’s first Bond date, which unlocks once you reach Crush Level 20 with him. The date sees Rafayel being his usual trollish self towards the heroine, and to say too much more would be something of a story spoiler.

Level 20 is on the late side for a first Bond date to unlock, but this one’s also a little bit more involved than Zayne or Xavier’s first dates. Though there are no major branching options, you do get lots of dialogue choices that change the details of the date quite a bit. Like all Bond dates, Nightly Stroll is a fully-voiced and fully-animated side-story. There are plenty of interactive elements and multiple choices that don’t lead to different endings, but can significantly change what dialogue you hear along the way. The date opens with the following interactive steps:

Dialogue choice #1

1. It’s me, [name]!
2. You don’t remember?

Depending on your choice, you’ll hear a different version of the next conversation with Rafayel, although you’ll always have the same interactions to complete at the same time:

1. There was an emergency.
2. I’m here, aren’t I?

Again, the next bit of dialogue changes based on what you choose to say, before the branches meet up again for the following interactive steps:

At this point, you’ll once again be faced with a choice that changes the dialogue but not the interaction requirements of the scene:

The next dialogue choice does actually involve a slight branch in interactions for the scene:

This leads into the final dialogue choice, which – given that we’re digging into a surprisingly deep bit of Rafayel lore for a first date (let’s just say that despite his usual sardonic tone, he’s really not trolling you any more) – is well worth paying attention to.

Finally, once that last dialogue branch has met back up, it’s time to complete the last couple of interactions and end the date:

Rewards and 100% completion

Upon completing the date for the first time following any route, you’ll be rewarded with the Swimming Fish shelf ornament, 60 Diamonds, and 30K Gold, as well as an Affection increase with Rafayel.

However, you’ll need to play through the whole date at least once more and choose all the alternate dialogue options if you want to unlock 100% completion, which rewards you with a further 50 Diamonds and 25K Gold, the Ocean Emissary suffix for your profile name card, and of course more Affection with Rafayel.
