At $63 (was $90), the bundle only costs $13 more than the price of the 5th Gen Echo Dot on its own ($50). If you already own a 4th- or 5th-Gen Echo Dot, you can buy the shell separately for $40.
Amazon has three bundles available–Glacier White, Deep Blue Sea, and Charcoal–in case you’d like a splash of color after Halloween and you decide to remove the Skellington shell. Inside, you’ll find a 5th-Gen Echo Dot and the Jack Skellington shell.
